# Drop the drag
You know those tasks everyone hates doing but nobody gets around to fixing?
Yeah. Those.
When enough of them build up, they create operational drag that costs businesses far more than they realise.
Use our free calculator to reveal the potential impact on your business.
**You might be surprised by the result!**
## Let's see the damage
Number of employees doing manual tasks 3 Hours spent per employee per week 2 Average hourly cost per employee £16
0 hours a month on manual work
0 a year, at that rate
0 back a year with 70% automated
## Ouch. That's more than expected
**Think your result looks high?**
What starts as a few spreadsheets, a bit of admin and a couple of manual processes soon eats away at productivity and profitability.
Before you know it, your team is spending more time managing work than actually doing it.
## Your score is just the start
If your result made you wince, imagine what your team could do with that time back.
Book a discovery call and we'll help identify where time is disappearing, what's slowing things down, and how AI and automation could help put those hours back where they belong.
**Just complete the form below...**
## More ways to drop the drag
**Fancy digging a little deeper?**
By this point, you're probably eyeing up a few spreadsheets with suspicion.
The blogs below explore where operational drag comes from, why it gets worse over time, and how businesses are using automation to claw back hours every week.
