# 1101 Renews Cyber Essentials Plus Certification
1101 has once again renewed its Cyber Essentials Plus certification, marking our 3rd consecutive year meeting the UK’s highest level of [Cyber Essentials](https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cyber-essentials-scheme-overview) assurance.
This means our systems are independently checked and tested to make sure the security measures we have in place protect our people, our business, and our clients from common cyber threats across these 5 core areas: firewalls and routers, security updates, access control, malware protection, and secure configuration.
As a digital transformation partner, our clients trust us to work across complex systems and handle sensitive and business‑critical information, so cyber security is always front of mind.
Since 2018, we have also supported our clients through the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification, so it’s only right that we hold ourselves to the same standards we recommend to others.
Marvin, our Technical Director, said:
> *"Cyber security isn’t something you do once and forget. Renewing our Cyber Essentials Plus certification means our security is tested year after year. It gives customers confidence that the advice and support we provide is practical and proven.”*
