We're excited to announce that 1101 will be sponsoring the Small Business of the Year Award at the Barnsley & Rotherham Business Awards 2026.
Having attended previous ceremonies and been shortlisted ourselves, we've experienced first-hand what this recognition means to the people behind the business.
We know how much hard work and resilience go into building a successful company, which is why sponsoring this category was an easy decision.
Most of the clients we support are small businesses. As they grow, they face all sorts of challenges, from scaling systems and processes to maintaining efficiency and keeping momentum.
We see first-hand the challenges that come with growth, and we're proud to sponsor an award that celebrates businesses that continue to adapt and excel.
At the ceremony on Friday 6 November, our Managing Director, Oz Hetherington, will have the honour of announcing and presenting the category winner.

Judging was a tough job and choosing the shortlist was even tougher, which says a lot about the quality of businesses in our region. We can't wait to celebrate with the finalists and winners on the night. And, of course, see whether anyone can outlast our team on the dancefloor!
